OHIO Up Close is an exclusive campus visit opportunity for admitted high school seniors and their families. Join us on campus to celebrate your admission into the proud OHIO tradition and learn everything you need to know about your next steps to becoming a forever Bobcat. Connect with your academic department, check out a residence hall and tour campus, get important information about housing and financial aid and hear from a diverse panel of current students who will give you the inside scoop on everything you've wanted to know about the OHIO experience.

Your OHIO email address (OHIO ID@wsdzhs.com) and password are required to register for this event. If you have not already activated your OHIO ID and campus email address, you can do so by following the instructions on the admitted student website.

1Portfolio reviews for the School of Visual Communication (VisCom) will be held during OHIO Up Close on Saturday, February 10, and Friday, March 22. More information about VisCom Portfolio Reviews can be found on our web page.

2OHIO Up Close events on February 10, February 19 and March 1 will have an optional FAFSA Completion Station in the afternoon. Please see the agenda for more details. 

3International students are invited to attend OHIO Up Close on March 1 or March 22 for the opportunity to attend an International Student Lunch and International Information Session during OHIO Up Close.

4Students in the Patton College of Education are encouraged to attend an OHIO Up Close on April 12 or April 20, for special opportunities to tour facilities and connect with current students and faculty.

Optional Early Bird Walking Tour: Bobcat Basics
8:30 a.m.
Start the morning with an abbreviated walking tour of life on campus, including a look at historic College Green.

Welcome Session
9:30 a.m.
Hear from current students about the OHIO experience and learn important information about your next steps to becoming a Bobcat.

Academic Information Session
11 a.m.
Meet with faculty and staff from your academic college.

Explore all of the opportunities and services available to you at OHIO and meet helpful representatives.Learn how your credit will transfer to OHIO, including AP, IB, College Credit Plus and dual enrollment.Get help confirming your intent to enroll and getting ready to sign up for Bobcat Student Orientation (BSO)!

FAFSA Completion Station*

Financial Aid staff will be available to help you complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is a drop-in session, so stop by anytime between 1-4 p.m. If available, students are encouraged to bring their own technology (e.g., laptop or tablet) to help facilitate the FAFSA completion process.

*The FAFSA Completion Station will be an afternoon session option at the February 10, February 19 and March 1 events.
